1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your use of the V2T mobile application (the "App") and our website (the "Site"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App or Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App or Site.

2. Who We Are

For purposes of these Terms, "V2T," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operator of the App and Site. You can contact us at service@linfei.app.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App or Site. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with permission of a parent or legal guardian.

4. License and Restrictions

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use (unless we explicitly allow otherwise).

You may not (and may not permit others to):

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the App.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code (except where permitted by law).
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or related systems.
  • Use the App to violate any law, regulation, or third-party rights.

5. User Content and Permissions

The App may allow you to record or upload audio and generate transcripts, summaries, notes, and other outputs (collectively, "User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content.

To operate the App, you grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display your User Content solely to provide and improve the App (for example, to generate transcripts, summaries, and AI chat responses) and to maintain safety and compliance.

Recording and consent: You are responsible for ensuring you have all necessary rights and permissions to record, upload, and process audio (including obtaining consent where required by law).

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App or Site to:

  • Upload or process content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten others, or encourage violence.
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits, scrape, or automate access in a way that degrades the service.
  • Use the App for high-risk activities where errors could lead to harm (for example, emergency response, medical diagnosis, or legal advice).

7. AI Features and Output Disclaimer

Transcripts and AI-generated summaries may be inaccurate or incomplete. Audio quality, accents, background noise, and other factors can affect results. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying outputs before relying on them.

The App does not provide professional advice (including medical, legal, financial, or compliance advice).

8. Subscriptions and Payments (Apple App Store)

Certain features may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and policies.

  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions may automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information. By using the App or Site, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

The App, Site, and their content (excluding your User Content) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We reserve all rights not expressly granted in these Terms.

11. Third-Party Services

The App and Site may rely on third-party services (for example, Apple services and providers used for hosting, processing, or analytics). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to separate terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App or Site at any time if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or if necessary to protect the service, users, or our rights. You may stop using the App at any time.

13. Disclaimers

THE APP AND SITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP OR SITE; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY; OR (C) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR CONTENT.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App or Site, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App or Site after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

18. iOS / Apple App Store Additional Terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation with respect to the App.
  • Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
  • You must comply with applicable Apple terms and policies when using the App.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App and Site and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject.
