  • Content you provide: audio recordings you upload or record, transcripts, summaries, notes, and related text you submit for processing ("User Content").
  • No account required: the App does not require you to create an account or sign in.
  • Support communications: if you contact us, we may receive your email address and the information you choose to include in your message.
  • Purchase information: if you subscribe through Apple, Apple processes your payment information. We may receive limited information (such as subscription status) to provide the service.
  • Device and usage information: information about your device and how you use the App (for example, device type, operating system version, approximate location derived from IP address, app interactions, crash logs, and performance data).
  • Site technical data: when you visit the Site, your browser may automatically send information such as your IP address, user agent, and request metadata.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide and operate the App and Site (including transcription, summaries, and AI chat features).
  • Maintain safety, security, and fraud prevention.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze performance, and improve features and user experience.
  • Communicate with you, including responding to support requests.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

4. How We Share Information

We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: we may use vendors to help provide the service (for example, hosting, content processing, and analytics). They are permitted to process information only on our instructions and for the purposes we describe here.
  • Legal and safety: we may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, or prevent fraud or abuse.
  • Business transfers: information may be disclosed in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

We do not sell personal information. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Data Retention

Audio retention: audio recordings you submit for processing are automatically deleted after processing is complete.

We keep other information only as long as needed to provide the App and Site, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and how you use the App.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of certain information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can also contact us to request deletion of data associated with your use of the App.

8. California Privacy Notice

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. 9. Children's Privacy

The App and Site are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

10. Third-Party Services and Links

The App and Site may rely on third-party services (for example, Apple App Store services and third-party content delivery or web font providers used to load Site assets). These third parties may receive technical information such as IP address and device identifiers in connection with providing their services. Their practices are governed by their own privacy policies.

Firebase Analytics: we use Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to help us understand App usage and improve performance. Firebase Analytics may collect information such as device identifiers, IP address, app interaction data (events), and approximate location derived from IP address.
